Ferry services suspended on Paturia-Daulatdia route
Ferry services about the Paturia-Daulatdia way have been halted because of dense fog.
The authorities have suspended launch solutions from 12:0 midnight of Sunday, said Zillur Rahman, deputy supervisor of Aricha sector of Bangladesh Inland Drinking water Transport Corporation (BIWTC).
Five ferries with a sizable number of vehicles and passengers on board were trapped in the center of the river.
Meanwhile, above hundred of vehicles remained stuck over both sides of Paturia-Daulatdia ferry waiting to cross the river.
