Fahad beats Russian Grandmaster
Youngster Mohammed Fahad Rahman defeated Russian Grandmaster Maxim Lugovskoy in the second round of the EKA IIFL Investment Managers 5th International Grand Master Chess Tournament in Mumbai, India on Tuesday.
The Bangladesh International Master played with white pieces against Maxim, who has 153 more rating points than Fahad, and led the table jointly with full two points.
Among others, GM Ziaur Rahman earned 1.5 points after beating Manish Kumar of India.
