Ershad elected leader of opposition
Jatiya Party Chairman (JaPa) HM Ershad has been elected leader of the opposition in the 11th Jatiya Sangsad on Wednesday.
JaPa Co-Chairman GM Quader has been elected deputy leader of the opposition, said a gazette notification issued by the Parliament Secretariat, BSS reports.
JP Chairman’s deputy press secretary Khandakar Delwar Jalali told BSS that, “A gazette notification has been issued regarding election of Jatiya Party Chairman HM Ershad leader of the opposition and its co-chairman GM Quader deputy leader of opposition.”
