DB sues 2 edu ministry officials, Lakehead school director

DHAKA: Detective Branch (DB) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) filed a case accusing Education Minister’s personal officer (PO) Motaleb Hossain, Higher Division clerk of the ministry Md Nasiruddin and Lakehead grammar school director Khaled Hasan Motin of bribery charges.
DB Sub-Inspector (SI) Monirul Islam Mridha, as a plaintiff, filed the case with Banani Police Station on Monday night (January 22).
Bribery charges were brought against the trio in the case, Banani Police Station SI Rafiq Uddin Ahmed told Banglanews.
Earlier, DB police detained Motaleb from Mohammadpur’s Bosila and Nasiruddin from Banani area with Tk 1,30,000. Both of them were reported missing at first. Lakehead grammar school director Motin was detained earlier from Gulshan. The trio were nabbed on the night of Sunday (January 21).
