Covered van kills Pathao driver, rider at Motijheel
Two motorcyclists died after a covered van hit the two-wheeler in Dhaka’s Motijheel.
One of the victims, Ripon Shikder, was a driver of Pathao ride-sharing service, while the other, Alam Gazi, was the passenger, police said.
The covered van sped off after hitting the motorbike in front of the Shilpa Bank Bhaban around 10:15pm on Sunday, Dhaka Metropolitan Police Assistant Commissioner Mishu Biswas told bdnews24.com.
The bodies are kept at Dhaka Medical College Hospital’s mortuary.
