CMP deputy commissioner Mizanur dies of coronavirus
Mizanur Rahman, deputy law enforcement commissioner of Detective Branch of Chattogram Metropolitan Police (CMP), died of novel coronavirus early Monday.
He breathed his previous about 3:30am at Central Police Hospital in Dhaka's Rajarbagh area while undergoing treatment from June 28, the CMP commissioner Mahbubur Rahman confirmed.
Mizanur have been admitted to a healthcare facility after infected with the deadly virus. He was, later on, shifted to the intensive good care unit (ICU) of the hospital pursuing deterioration of his condition.
Mizanur, who joined the police force through the 22nd BCS test, was the initial SP-rank officer to die of the coronavirus.
