Children's painting exhibition begins at Bangla Academy

A special painting exhibition of children highlighting the Language Movement, Liberation War and local history and tradition will begin at the Bangla Academy on Monday, reports UNB. The exhibition is going to be organized as part of the month-long Amar Ekushey Book Fair being held on the academy premises and at nearby Suhrawardy Udyan.

The paintings of the winners of competitions organized by Bangla Academy for children from 2009 to 2019 will be kept on display at the show at the Dr Enamul Haque Building of the academy. The academy arranges a painting competition for children every year during the book fair.  Director General of the academy Poet Habibullah Siraji will inaugurate the painting exhibition which will end on the final day of the book fair on February 28.
