Celebrities pour grief for Chawkbazar victims
After an inferno occurred on February 20, the Chawkbazar area of Old Dhaka is now left with charred buildings and smell of deaths. The whole country is mourning with the families of victims and people are pouring condolences over the tragedy. 

Bangladeshi celebrities have turn to social media to share their grief as well. By posting their status in the social networking sites, celebrities are expressing deep grief and praying for the victims who are receiving treatments in hospitals. 

The lead vocal of Chirkutt, Sharmin Sultana Sumi shared her deep thoughts regarding the tragedy and send prayers to the victims. She wrote, "The whole country is now crying over the tragedy happened in Old Dhaka. Just like the victims of this fire incident, Bangladesh is wounded and this wound is not meant to heal so fast.

However, even in this shocking incident, I found consolation through a photo where I saw how our fire fighters have risked their lives to save others. If they had not done that, the death toll would have been even greater." Model-actress Suzana Zafar wrote, "I pray that the departed goes to heaven." 

Dhallywood superstar Shakib Khan wrote, "I share my deep grievance to the victim who died on that day." Subarna Mustafa, an actor who took oath as an MP recently, wrote, "Dhaka became the city of grief in just one night. It is just a matter of time to see another tragedy like this if the city is not rehabilitated and the chemical industry is not evicted."

Arifin Shuvo posted a picture of the incident and wrote, "We are shocked and heartbroke."A fire grazed through  Chawkbazar's Churihatta area of Old Dhaka Wednesday night, killing 70 people as of now.
