Cardi B calls out Joe Biden and other senior US politicians in furious rant about budget cuts
Cardi B is not best pleased with the US government after recent budget cuts made in New York City. On Sunday, the Bronx native went on an unexpected rant about what she thought about the fiscal constraints set to be made in areas like education, sanitation and law and order in 'The Big Apple'.
"Get ready, because I'm about to go off," warned the singer and rapper at the beginning of her Instagram live steam. Once she reached thirty thousand live listeners, Cardi commenced her rant. She certainly didn't mince her words.

She continued, expressing concern for her family and friends living in the city. "What's going to happen to my nieces, what's going to happen to my nephews, what's going to happen to my cousins, my aunts, my friends that's living in the hood?" questioned a desperate Cardi. "I'm from the Bronx, I don't want to see my s**t affected."
'Everybody be like "New York is dirty," and it is dirty, and we're going to get even dirtier with the f*****g budget cut.'
$120 million to be slashed from budget, per New York mayor
It was on Thursday when New York's mayor confirmed that there would be severe budget cuts in the city. Eric Adams revealed $120 million was going to slashed across all departments after the city spent $1.45 billion last year, an overspend which was largely caused by the migrant crisis.
Some consequences include reducing the number of NYPD officers by a fifth, smaller funding for schools and libraries and less frequent rubbish removal across the city.
"Crimes are gonna go through the roof because there is a police safety budget cut and on top of that there's a sanitation f*****g budget cut so that means we're gonna be drowning in rats. We can't fund these wars, we can barely f*****g fund this country," continued Cardi in her rant that lasted almost ten minutes.
