BSMRSTU students continue protest
The agitating students of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Science and Technology University (BSMRSTU) continued their protest for the fourth consecutive day on Sunday, despite shut down of the varsity.

The demonstrators took position in front of the administration building this morning and are staging demonstration demanding resignation of the Vice Chancellor Professor Khondoker Md Nasiruddin.

Additional police have been deployed in and around the campus as the tense situation is prevailing.

Acting proctor Bashir Uddin said "The students did not vacate the hall despite office order. We do not want to make them anger, rather we want peaceful condition." 

Earlier on Saturday, Assistant Proctor Md Humayun Kabir resigned protesting the attacks on students carried out by outsiders.
