Boeing working with FAA in fresh snag to Dreamliner deliveries
Boeing Co explained on Friday it had been providing the US Government Aviation Administration with more info on its undelivered 787 Dreamliners, after a report it had been again halting deliveries of the troubled planes.

The US planemaker's 737 MAX and 787 craft have already been suffering from electrical and other issues since later this past year, and it only resumed deliveries of the larger planes in March after a five-month hiatus.

The Wall Road Journal reported previously Friday that Boeing had again halted deliveries of the 787, citing people familiar with the problem.

"We are working to supply the FAA with additional information concerning the evaluation and documentation linked to the verification work on undelivered 787s," a Boeing spokesperson said within an emailed statement responding to Reuters' issues on the report.

"We continue to work carefully with the FAA in a transparent and timely approach. There is no effect on the in-service fleet."

The WSJ report also said that it was unclear how very long the halt would previous, referring and then short-term delays of planes due to be delivered in coming days and nights.

"You will find a delay to near-term deliveries" a person acquainted with the problem told Reuters. The person added that the most recent delay came after a previous decision to permit deliveries to resume in March was put through further review.

Two key U.S. lawmakers said the other day they were seeking data from Boeing and the FAA on creation issues involving the 737 MAX and 787 Dreamliner.
