BNP's parliament boycott decision was wrong: Fakhrul
Admitting that BNP's decision to boycott parliament immediately after December 30 general election was wrong, BNP leader Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir said the party's acting chairman took the right decision.

He made the comment amid debate inside the party after four BNP leaders took oaths of office as members of parliament.

“Only catchy slogans for politics will not work. Our acting chairman [Tarique Rahman] took the right decision. We’ve to fight from both inside and outside. We’ve to speak from inside and outside,” Fakhrul said justifying his party’s decision to return to parliament.

The decision by the four MPs to join parliament was right, he said, reports bdnews24.com.

“I have no hesitation to admit that our past stance was not right.”
