Biden says can stand with European allies ahead of Putin summit
AMERICA will stand using its European allies against Russia, President Joe Biden has promised prior to the first face-to-face ending up in Vladimir Putin of his administration.

Biden will check out European countries on Wednesday (Jun 9), and is set to attend both the G-7 and NATO summits together with holding a high-stakes ending up in the Russian leader found in Geneva on Jun 16. The summit comes amid the biggest crisis in ties between your two countries in years, with tensions large over a litany of problems including hacking allegations, individual rights and promises of election meddling.

Within an op-ed for the Washington Content published Saturday, the US president promised to shore up Washington's "democratic alliances" when confronted with multiple crises and mounting threats from Moscow and Beijing.

"We are standing up united to address Russia's challenges to European security, you start with its aggression in Ukraine, and there will be without doubt about the resolve of the United States to defend our democratic values, which we cannot separate from our pursuits," he wrote.

"President Putin recognizes that I will not hesitate to respond to future unsafe activities," he said.

"When we meet, I will again underscore the dedication of america, Europe and like-minded democracies to operate for human privileges and dignity."

Since taking office in January, Biden has ramped up strain on the Kremlin, and his responses likening Putin to a "killer" were met with fierce criticism in Moscow.

But both leaders have expressed expectations that relations can improve, with the Russian president declaring Friday he expected a "positive" result from the talks.
