Bhumi believes that her debut film, directed by Sharat Katariya, was a milestone minute that paved her way to glory. She was recently shooting in Rishikesh on her behalf next movie 'Badhaai Conduct,' in the same house where 'Dum Laga Ke Haisha' was shot. Overwhelmed by the coincidence, she got to Instagram and shared a video.
She captioned the post as, "A trip straight down memory lane, as I go to the place where everything started, 6years of Dum Laga Ke Haisha." In the video recording, the actor explained, "Dum Laga Ke Haisha is truly a milestone instant of my entire life and I can't imagine how my job would have designed up without it. I was incredibly fortunate to understand this film and everyone understands how hard I worked to provide this role."
"It was such a good coincidence that I shot at the same position again for Badhaai Do. The house that was my first ever before location, for my initially film was employed for Badhaai Do. I was so nostalgic. What had been the chances that after 6 years, I would come to be at the same place!" she added. She further said, "I was very nostalgic that I was basically at the locations where I shot DLKH. I was essentially standing at the same location where I gave my primary shot ever in existence as an actor. I remember we'd done about 11 takes because of this and I was so nervous. That's where Bhumi the actor was born."
Crediting the complete team of her primary film for inculcating confidence in her as a great artist, she said, "Right from Shanoo, Adi sir, Maneesh Sharma, Sharat Katariya and even Ayushmann - everyone believed in me and that gave myself so much confidence to go out at this time there and present myself seeing that an artist. DLKH can be and will continually be a film from which I harness confidence to take on extra risks, to experiment frequently and present myself innovative on-screen every single time."
