BD shocked at loss of lives in Iranian plane crash
Bangladesh has expressed deep shock at the loss of lives in a plane crash in Isfahan Province of Iran.
"My heart is deeply saddened on hearing the news of the plane crash of Aseman Airlines in Isfahan Province of Iran," said Foreign Minister AH Mahmood Ali in a condolence message on Sunday, UNB reports.
In the message to his Iranian counterpart Dr Mohammad Javad Zarif, Mahmood Ali said, "Through you, Excellency, we would like to convey our condolences to the family members of those who lost their lives in the plane crash."
"May Almighty Allah grant them the strength to face it with courage and fortitude. We also pray that the departed souls rest in eternal peace," the message reads.
The Iranian passenger plane on a domestic flight crashed into the country's Zagros mountains on Sunday killing all 66 people on board.
