Barcelona Teenager Breaks All-Time LALIGA Record
A Barcelona teenager has set an incredible new record in LALIGA following his brace in his team's 3-3 draw with Granada on Sunday.

Lamine Yamal, 16, has continued to impress in Spain despite Barcelona's struggles this season.

The winger, who is a product of the club's famous La Masia academy, set a new record on the weekend when he became the youngest player in LALIGA history to score twice in a single match. At 16 years and 213 days old, Yamal has taken the record from Catalan club loanee Ansu Fati, who struck a brace in the league in February 2020, according to Mundo Deportivo.

Since coming into the senior set-up, the attacker has appeared for the team on 34 occasions, contributing to 10 goals in the process.

Barcelona, who are currently in third place in the Spanish top flight, currently find themselves 10 points adrift of league leaders Real Madrid and five points behind second-placed Girona.
