Bangladeshi found in UAE infected with coronavirus
Two more people of the UAE have tested positive for coronavirus, the UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention said in Friday.
This brings the full total number of patients tested positive for COVID19 in the UAE to 11, three of whom have finally recovered fully, the Gulf Information reports.
The two patients are: a 34-year-old resident from Philippines and a 39-year-old from Bangladesh. These were in direct contact with the Chinese language patient recently identified as having coronavirus and are now in a steady health condition, the ministry explained. Neither of the people was named.
The ministry affirmed that people in direct contact with the coronavirus patients are being checked to ensure the safety of the community and that the condition will not use in the country.
The ministry emphasised that it is taking all required and protective measures, including investigating, examining and following through to those who were in touch with the patients, in cooperation with health authorities in the united states.
The ministry urged the general public to follow the precautionary procedures and to browse the virus-awareness instructions, available on its website and the state websites of health authorities in the UAE.
“The general public are also advised to look at protective health behaviours in order to avoid infectious diseases, including washing hands with soap and clean water, and within the mouth when coughing or sneezing to stop the spread of germs and viruses,” the ministry said.
