Bangladesh win first gold in ISSF Archery
Bangladesh won their first gold in the 3rd ISSF International Solidarity Archery Championships, beating India by 229-225 in compound women's team event in Tongi today.
Bangladesh were vieing for gold in five events today -- men's recurve individual, women's recurve individual, men's recurve team, men's compound team and women's compound team events.
Bangladesh have dominated proceedings in the previous two editions of the tournament. In the first edition, Bangladesh won six gold, one silver and two bronze medals before following up with five golds, five silvers and one bonze in the second edition of the tournament.
