Bangladesh to go to New Zealand on February next year
Bangladesh is ready to visit New Zealand for a good three-meet ODIs and as much T20 International in February-March next yr, the brand new Zealand Cricket (NZC) on Tuesday confirmed.
Bangladesh is originally scheduled to tour the South Pacific region found in October for three-meet T20 Internationals as part of their preparation for the ICC T20 World Cup found in Australia.
The tour was postponed due to the outbreak of coronavirus worldwide. However, the T20 World Cup also got postponed, opening
another screen for the tour and this time, adding three ODIs also.
New Zealand can be place to host West Indies, Pakistan and Australia alongside Bangladesh while a visit by the Australia Women’s team can be in the first stages of planning the gap created by the postponed ODI Universe Cup in February.
NZC are currently dealing with the federal government on the bio-protection measures that may need to be set up for the touring groups with people to the country currently necessary to isolate for two weeks on arrival, said David Light, the NZC CEO.
He as well told the media they are looking for a version similar to that employed by the ECB during their ongoing season, that was the primary international cricket to resume amid the Covid-19 pandemic.
“We are building tremendous improvement. I was merely on the telephone to the West Indies, they’re confirmed, Pakistan is normally verified, Australia and Bangladesh… so 37 times of international cricket,” Light told the reporters.
New Zealand has been the most successful countries in combating Covid-19 and recently marked 100 times without community transmission.
