Badal’s body arrives in Dhaka
The body of freedom fighter and member of the parliament Moinuddin Khan Badal has arrived in Dhaka on Friday night.
A flight carrying his body landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at about 9.00pm.
Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal (JSD) President Hasanul Haque Inu, Workers Party President Rashed Khan Menon and Bangladesh JSD joint general secretary Nazmul Haque Prodhan were present at that time.
The body was taken to the deceased’s home in the capital and it was kept BIRDEM hospital morgue at night.
The first namaz-e-janaza of Badal will be held at the South Plaza of Jatiya Sangsad on Saturday morning.
Later, the body will be taken to Chattogram and second janaza will be held after Zuhr paryer at Darul Falah Mosque in the port city.
After third namaz-e-janaza, deceased will be buried at his Boalkhali family graveyard.
Badal passed away at a hospital in India on Thursday morning at the age of 67.
