Apurba, Mehazabien in lead roles
Director Sumon Anwar known for making tele-dramas and telefilms with unique stories, has made another unique tele-drama titled 'Mohamaya' casting popular small-screen pair Ziaul Faruq Apurba and Mehazabien Chowdhury in lead roles.
Written by the director himself, the tele-drama is about a couple who are blind, yet living a married life with their child. In the drama, Apurba plays the blind husband Shahid's character while Mehazabien will be seen portraying Kona's character, who is the blind wife.
In last Eid, Sumon Anwar directed drama titled 'Andhokar Dhaka' got popularity among the viewers. This time he has made a special drama titled 'Mohamaya' for upcoming Eid-ul-Azha.
Director Sumon Anwar has finished shooting of the drama on June 20. In the drama, Ziaul Faruk Apurba and Mehazabien Chowdhury played the role of husband-wife. They acted in roles of Shahid and Kona. They performed in role of a blind couple who has also a baby. Story of the drama continues with them.
It is mentioned that last week, Apurba's younger brother committed suicide so Apurba was absent from acting for last few days. After taking break, on June 19, Apurba took part in shooting. While talking about acting in the drama Apurba said, "Mohamaya is absolutely a different story based drama.
Earlier I never got the opportunity to work in such a role on the screen. It was really a challenging matter for me. Sumon Bhai has co-operated me well. It is no doubt he is a talented director. I enjoyed his direction. Mehazabien also acted well.
I am optimistic about the drama." Mehazabien shared her feelings by this way, "It was my first work under Sumon Anwar Bhai's direction. Story of the drama is nice where tales of two blind persons are presented nicely. I enjoyed the work. I believe viewers will enjoy."
