Aparajita Ghosh shoots for a short film 'Daddy's Lil Girl'
Actor Aparajita Ghosh who will soon be seen in Srijit Mukherji's upcoming film X=Prem recently shot for a short film directed by debutant Aditya Pandit. The English short 'Daddy's Lil Girl' tells the story of a school principal, the character Aparajita is playing. It has been shot by Madhura Palit.The short revolves around Radhika who has been promoted from a junior school teacher to the senior principal. Meanwhile, a sleeper cell manages to sneak into the same school where the home minister's son also studies. After joining the school as the principal Radhika's life changes forever.
What happens next forms the crux of the story.Aparajita is so happy to work with Aditya and says despite it is his first directorial Aditya is so organized, calm and composed, "He is incredibly talented and knows what he wants from his actor. The script is really strong. It talks about a lot of social issues. I hope you all will love the film."
Speaking about his first directorial venture, Aditya says, "I had a wonderful time shooting this short film. I wanted to show this story from the point of view of a school principal. When students have a bad day they end up at the principal's office but what does a principal do when she has a bad day at the office? I've always wanted to tell this story ever since school got over. The cast and crew were really supportive. This is my first formal project and I hope people will like the story."
