Another suspect held from Dhaka
Detectives arrested another suspect in BUET student Abrar Fahad murder case from Banglamotor in the capital on Sunday night.
Arrested SM Mahmud Setu is a 14th batch student of the university.
Masudur Rahman, Deputy Commissioner (media) of DMP, said Setu was arrested from the area at night.
With this, a total of 21 suspects have, so far, been arrested in the case.
Setu is not an FIR-listed accused. But according to the confessional statement of the arrested men, police found his involvement in Fahad murder.
Abrar Fahad, 21, a second year student of Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET), was found dead at his dormitory Sher-e-Bangla Hall in the early hours of October 7.
