Amjad Hossain taken to Bangkok, treatment begins
Critically ill noted filmmaker Amjad Hossain has been admitted to Bumrungrad International Hospital in Bangkok,Thailand for better treatment.
An air ambulance, carrying Amjad Hosasin, left Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka at 12:40am on Wednesday.
The eminent film director's two sons Sajjad Hossain Dodul and Shohel Arman are accompanying their ailing father.
Shohel Arman told media that his father was admitted to the hospital on Wednesday morning where his treatment has already started.
Amjad Hossain underwent treatment at a Dhaka hospital after he suffered a stroke on November 18.
