AL ‘involved’ in torching buses, alleges BNP
Declaring that the ruling party has ‘involvement’ in Thursday’s vehicle torching incidents in the capital, BNP on Sunday stated it does not believe in the politics of ‘arson terrorism’.
“We would like to unequivocally say BNP doesn’t believe in arson terrorism. We’ve already said many public vehicles were arranged burning in Dhaka on November 12 in a planned approach with an ill-motive,” stated BNP acting business office secretary Syed Emran Saleh Prince.
He made the remarks in a press conference in BNP’s Nayapaltan central business office trashing Awami League (AL) Basic Secretary Obaidul Quader’s remark that BNP cannot come out of and present up its traditional practice of arson terrorism.
The BNP head said Awami League is indulging in its ‘old game’ of eliminating BNP from politics by filing ‘false’ cases against the party leaders and staff by setting fire to public transport through various agencies aiming to hush up the government's ‘terrorism, corruption and overall misrule’ "Awami League itself is involved with these incidents.”
Some vehicles were torched at various areas of the administrative centre, including Nayapaltan, Jatiya Press Club, Gulistan, Shahbagh areas, on Thursday. Several situations were filed with several police stations, incorporating Ramna, Shahbagh and Paltan Style Police ones, against BNP leaders and activists in this connection.
Prince said their party is worried over the sudden incidents of car or truck torching. “We don’t see any reason for carrying out such incidents. BNP participated in a variety of by-elections during the past where our triumph was snatched through vote rigging and vote robbery. We’ve registered our protest against it peacefully. No such incident occurred earlier. Why possess these incidents happened all of a sudden?”
Prince said their party thinks the ruling party achieved it to divert people’s focus on a different route from the government’s continuous failures to run the united states, check widespread corruption, plundering, vote-rigging and developing rape incidents in the united states. “BNP isn’t involved in these incidents at all.”
He alleged that police found Chhatra Dal vice president Mostafizur Rahman from Khamarbari area and Habiganj Chhatra Dal leader Mizanur Rahman from Nayapaltan spot on Friday. “However the laws enforcers aren’t acknowledging their detention.”
The BNP innovator demanded the two 'detained' Chhatra Dal leaders be produced prior to the public immediately.
