94 pct of people getting power facility
State Minister for Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Nasrul Hamid said 94 percent of the people in the country are now getting access to electricity.
“The entire country will be brought under 100 percent of electricity facility by December of this current year,” Nasrul Hamid said while speaking as the chief guest at tri-annual conference of Tegharia Union in Keraniganj upazila on Friday (July 26).
When Awami League government came to power, 47 percent of the people in the country were under power facility. Power facility has been upgraded, the minister said.
