9 more deaths, new infects 309
Nine more patients died from novel coronavirus and 309 persons tested positive in last 24 hours.
The death toll in Bangladesh now rose to 140 as the number of the virus infected cases reached to 4,998.
Directorate General of Health Services additional director general Nasima Sultana confirmed the figure on Saturday at the daily bulletin on COVID-19 situation.
She said several coronavirus testing laboratories in the united states tested 3337 samples within the last 24 hours.
Meanwhile, the global death toll from the deadly virus reached 197,368 by Saturday. There were 2,833,958 confirmed cases around the world.
