69 held in Manikganj police drives
Police detained 69 people in drives launched in various areas of the district.
In the anti-drug drives, 14 drug users among 69 were also detained as conducted from Sunday morning (October 7) to Monday morning (October 8).
133 pieces of yaba pills, 70 grams of heroine, and 160 of grams hemp were seized during the drives. A total of 9 cases were filed against the detainees, Hamidur Rahman, Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) of Manikganj district police of special branch told Media.
