4 of a family burnt in Kanthalbagan AC explosion
Four members of a family sustained burn injuries in a fire caused by a air conditioner explosion at a house in city's Kanthalbagan area early Monday.
Neighbours said, hearing a big ban from the second floor of a four-storey building at early hours, they rushed in and found the blaze came out from the floor.
They, later, rescued the four, including two children and taken them to the burn unit of Dhaka Medical College Hospital.
Victim Moniruzzaman Liton, 38, a magician, is living in the building with his family.
Moniruzzaman Liton admitted the hospital with 50 per cent, his wife Tumpa Akter, 30, with 25, his daughters Laiba, 7, with 17 and eight-months-old Liban with 7 per cent, DMCH police outpost ASI ABdul Khan confirmed.
