3 tourists go missing in Bay in Chattogram
CHATTOGRAM: Three youths went missing in the Bay of Bengal while bathing in Bashbaria sea beach in Sitakunda upazila on Friday afternoon (July 6).
The victims are identified as Yasin, 19, Saidul, 24 and Alauddin, all residents of Jhautala area of Chattogram city.
Of them, Yasin is a press worker while Saidul and Alauddin are cleaners of Chattogram City Corporation.
Fire Service Divisional control room official Shahidur Rahman told Banglanews that three tourists have been missing while they were bathing in a sea beach adjacent to a private tourist spot in Bashbaria. A diving team is conducting operation to rescue them.
