3 missing children found dead in Sherpur
SHERPUR: The three boys of Sreebordi upazila of Sherpur, who went missing on Wednesday noon (July 12), were found dead at the night.
The trio drowned in a water body.
They were identified as Nur Mohammad, 7, Mohammad Ali, 7, and Riyad Hossain, 6.
Locals said that the three boys went missing while playing in Kauner Char water body in the upazila, at noon.
Locals recovered the body of one child from the water body six hours after they went missing.
Later a team of divers went there from Mymensingh and the bodies of the two others were recovered around 11:15pm, Sreebordi Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Rezaul Haque told Banglanews.
