3 burnt alive in city building fire
Three persons including a child were burnt alive in a fire that broke at a garage of a building in city's New Eskaton early Thursday.
The identities of the deceased cannot be known immediately.
On information, eight firefighting units visited the location and extinguished the fire around 5:30am.
After taking control of the blaze, they recovered three charred bodies from the building.
The reason behind the fire is yet to be known.
Critically burn injured two were admitted to the burn unit of Dhaka Medical College Hospital while three others fell sick in the smoke are also undergoing treatment at a healthcare facility.
The bodies were kept at the DMCH morgue.
