2nd flight to bring Bangladeshis from London June 13
The federal government in coordination with Bangladesh High Commission in britain (UK) has arranged second chartered flight from London to bring back Bangladeshi nationals who've been stuck in the united kingdom amid flight suspension because of COVID-19 pandemic, reports UNB.
A Biman Bangladesh Airlines aircraft will depart from Terminal 2 of Heathrow Airport at 10 am (London time) on June 13 carrying stranded Bangladeshi nationals, a news release issued by Bangladesh High Commission in the united kingdom said here today.
The mission urged all intending passengers to join up through the Bangladesh High Commission London link - https://forms.gle/qFXRvriFCLUUVV857 - for secure their seats at the flight.
The release said seat arrangement of the flight will be made maintaining social distancing while the ticket prices were fixed at 600 pounds for economy class and 1435 pounds for business class.
On May 11, the federal government first brought back 114 stranded Bangladeshi nationals from London by a particular chartered flight of Biman Bangladesh airlines.
Apart from UK, Bangladesh up to now repatriated stranded Bangladeshis from the USA, Canada, Australia, Thailand, Singapore and Malaysia.
Other countries, including India, the united kingdom, India, Japan, Canada, Australia, Turkey, Singapore, Malaysia, South Korea, Bhutan, Myanmar and various Europe also operated several special chartered flights amid the flight suspension to repatriate their citizens from here.
On May 25, Bangladesh extended the ongoing ban on flight procedure for the seventh consecutive time till June 15 over the coronavirus fear although it resumed flights on domestic routes on June 1.
