200 onion-laden trucks start entering Bangladesh
200 onion-laden trucks stranded at Mahadipur Land Port of India for the last seven days have started coming to Bangladesh through Sonamasjid Land Port of Chapai Nawabganj.
The concerned officials of the two countries confirmed that all trucks will enter through special system by 6 pm on Friday (October 4).
Sree Bhupathi Mandal, general secretary of Mahadipur Land Port C&F Agent Welfare Association said onion-laden trucks started entering through special system at Sonamasjid Land Port from 12:30 pm onwards on Friday (October 4).
Contacted Bulbul, customs inspector of Sonamasjid Land Port, said onion-laden trucks started entering Bangladesh after 12:30 pm onwards.
