2 Bangladeshi personnel killed in Lebanon
Two Bangladeshi personnel reportedly died from strangulation while being asleep in Lebanon.

These were residents of Govindpur village under Teghoria union of Habiganj Sadar upazila.

The deceased were--Abdullah Mia, 35, son of Siddique Ali of Govindpur village and Mozammel Mia, 22, son of Jharu Mia of the same village.

Searching for livelihood, Abdullah went to Lebanon about two years ago and Mozammel one and half years ago. 

As there was extreme cold in Lebanon, two of these visited sleep after lighting fire within their room on the night time of February 11.  Seeing the entranceway locked late each morning, people in a nearby knocked on the door. Without response from inside, persons broke into the room and found them lying dead during intercourse, UP chairman Anu Miha told Banglanews quoting family sources.

Md. Masuk Ali, Officer-in-Charge of Habiganj Sadar Model Police Station, told Banglanews: "I have learned of the problem through the locals." The matter is being investigated.”

“The owner will send the bodies to Bangladesh,” Jahangir Alam, a close relative of the deceased, told media.
