A total of just one 1,01,082 people were administered COVID-19 vaccines on the 3rd time of countrywide vaccination campaign.

Of them, 74,586 were male and 26,496 feminine, in line with the data of Control Information Program of Directorate Basic of Health Offerings(DGHS).

Currently (Tuesday), the amount of vaccine receivers is 1,79,318 as 31,160 were vaccinated on February 7 and 46,509 on February 8 while rests were vaccinated on January 27 and January 28, it added.

People aged 40 years and above now can get registered to get COVID-19 vaccines, medical ministry sources said.

According to before decision of the federal government, persons aged 55 years and above were only qualified to receive taking vaccines however the decision provides been revised a working day following launching of the countrywide COVID-19 vaccination campaign on February 7.

The vaccination get was conducted at 50 hospitals in Dhaka city and 1005 hospitals beyond your capital today, the DGHS said, adding the immunization programme will begin at 8am and it'll continue till 2.30 pm everyday.

However, many hospitals will continue the vaccination program throughout the day, medical official said.

The inoculation would be administered among persons in government hospitals up to upazila level while over five lakh persons up to now got them registered to be inoculated.
