WTTC reveals Indonesia, Dubai, Rwanda as most current recipients of its Safe Travels stamp
Favorite holiday destinations Indonesia, Dubai and Rwanda will be among the latest destinations to start using the world's first ever global safety and hygiene stamp, released recently simply by the World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC).

The growing list of endorsements attended from many major holiday and city destinations all over the world, such as Sharjah aswell Malaga which joins the growing list of Spanish summer sun destinations including Alicante and Benidorm.

WTTC, which represents the global travel and leisure and tourism private sector, created the Safe Travels stamp to permit travellers to identify destinations and businesses all over the world that have adopted the global standardised health insurance and hygiene protocols.

The United Nations Universe Tourism Organisation (UNWTO) has welcomed the WTTC Safe and sound Travels stamp, which place the safety and hygiene of travellers as priority.

Gloria Guevara, President and CEO, WTTC, said, "The achievements of the WTTC Safe and sound Travels stamp displays its importance not only to countries and destinations, but also, crucially, to travellers and the 330 million people all over the world who work found in and depend on, the travel and tourism sector."

Since the launch of the WTTC Safe and sound Travels stamp, destination countries, cities, and hotspots all over the world have finally adopted WTTC's new protocols.

Within its Safe and sound Travels protocols, these all over the world actions provide consistency and guidance to visit providers and travellers about the new method of health, hygiene, deep cleaning and physical distancing, in the 'new common' of COVID-19 world.

The protocols were devised following the experience of WTTC members working with COVID19 and predicated on guidelines from the World Health and wellbeing Organisation (WHO) and the Centre for Disease Control and Avoidance (CDC).

According to WTTC's 2020 Economic Effects Report, during 2019, Travel and Tourism was responsible for one in 10 jobs (330 million total), producing a 10.3 % contribution to global GDP and producing one in four of all new jobs.
