This unbreakable Blackberry look-alike flagship costs only Rs 18,000
Blackberry’s reign is coming soon to an end, along with the possible end of physical keyboards. Some brands however continue to stick to the physical keyboard every now and then.
Unihertz is one of those brands and their most recent offering is a Blackberry-like looking device that is big, built like a tank, offers great specs, and is still very affordable.
The Unihertz Titan features a large QWERTY keyboard that is backlit and also doubles up as a trackpad. The touchscreen on the phone is a good 4.5-inches despite the phone having a physical keyboard, This makes the Titan a big device, it is 6-inches tall and 3.6-inches wide.
The phone also features a 6000mAh battery, a fingerprint sensor, Dual-sim support, Face Unlock, NFC, and Wireless charging.
The keyboard on the Titan is a physical one and does what physical keyboards do best, offer a great typing experience with firm keys and no wobble. The large size of the phone allows for larger buttons as well, so people with big thumbs should be fine with the phone.
The big screen offers a resolution of 1,400 by 1,400. Its square though, and offers a 1:1 aspect ratio, which isn’t really completely optimised with Google’s apps and services. Plus most third party apps were also not built for square displays.
The phone’s crowd-funding campaign is still going on and you can go their site here to book one for just USD 259, or roughly about Rs 18,000.
