Spain Humble France & Advance To WC Final
Spain progressed to their second FIFA World Cup final after defeating France 2-0 in the semi-finals on Tuesday night.

Didier Deschamps recalled Aurélien Tchouaméni, who missed Les Blues' last two matches as Manu Kone dropped to the bench while Spain coach Luis de la Fuente decided to keep Fabian Ruiz in midfield ahead of Pedri for the second game in a row.

It proved to be a frustrating half for the two-time world champions, as the influential Michael Olise and Ousmane Dembele who had little to no joy in the opposition final third, with the former being closely monitored by Spain's Rodri.
The second half began in the worst possible way for the French, as Spain doubled their lead in the 58th minute when Pedro Porro combined with Dani Olmo before calmly slotting home for his second goal at the current tournament, leaving the Les Blues defence wide open.
Deschamps responded with a couple changes before the hour mark as Kone replaced Adrien Rabiot while Desire Doue was also introduced to liven up the attack in place of Bradley Barcola, who had a very quiet game by his standards.
The changes had no real impact on France going forward as they struggled to carve out any serious chances at Unai Simon's goal throughout the 90 minutes, with star players Mbappe, Olise and Dembele failing to provide any spark in the final third as La Roja advance to their first World Cup final since 2010.
Key Performers:
The midfield duo of Rodri and Fabian Ruiz were superb from the onset, most notably the former who never put a foot wrong and did well to stifle the threat of Olise throughout the entire clash.
