Security guard 'commits suicide’ in Dhaka
A man allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself from a tree in Malibagh area of capital Dhaka early Saturday.
Victim Ajhar Ali, 50, was a guard of 'The United Construction Company' in the area, hailed from Naglapara village in Delduar upazila of Tangail district, according to UNB reports.
Locals spotted the hanging body of Ajhar Ali at New Circular Road in the area around 7:00am, said Ramna Police Station officer in-charge Abdul Baten.
Being informed, police recovered the body.
The reason behind the suicide could not be known yet, the OC added.
