Now, after working on his latest project comprising of 22 original songs, tuned by Ferdous Wahid and music arrangement done by Mosharraf Azmi, the veteran pop singer intends to never appear before audience with new songs.
Among these 22 songs, a number of five songs namely 'Tumi Amar Jibon,' 'Papi,' 'Ogo Amar Moyna,' 'Cholar Pothey' and 'Moira Geley' are currently under production to be made into music videos.

With lyrics of another 17 songs written by Mosharraf Azmi, the production of the music videos of the songs is also in the pipeline.
"The year 2019 is going to be my last year in stage shows and also in original songs. At a certain age, singers actually cannot render songs as they used to do in their early age. Thus, before the audience feels the need of rejecting me as an artiste later, I would like to leave this arena with dignity.
However, if after my retirement, any organization wants to me appear in stage shows, I will take the fee Tk 5 lakh per show and deposit it into Wahid Foundation in order to use the entire amount to help people in need", Ferdous Wahid said when asked whether his fans are going see him in new songs and stage shows after this year.
