Dismal show by Bangladeshi shooters
Bangladeshi rifle shooters showcased disappointing performances on the beginning moment of the International Shooting Sport Federation Environment Cup as aside from their women’s team’s qualification in the ultimate, all got eliminated from the qualification circular in New Delhi on Friday.
 
The country’s premier shooter Abdullah Hel Baki shot 624.5 to complete 19th among 42 shooters in the qualifiers of men’s 10m air flow rifle singles while Rabbi Hasan Munna shot 624.7 to complete 18th in Dr Karni Singh Spectrum.
 
In the qualification round of the women’s 10m air rifle singles, Sayeda Atkia Hasan Disha done 39th among 52 shooters with 618.3. The various other two Bangladeshi shooters -- Farbin Chowdhury Rithika and Sharmin Akter Ratna have scored 617.4 and 608.8 to rank 42nd and 46th respectively. 
 
The team scored a complete of 1844.5 issues to be eligible for the finals among the top eight teams. 
 
Federation Secretary-Standard Enthekhabul Hamid told The Daily Sunlight they are now eyeing women’s clubs, rifle mixed clubs and pistol solo and mixed events. 
 
“We have been eliminated from both men’s and women’s rifle solo events and men’s crew event but we still have possibilities in women’s rifle workforce event, rifle mixed staff event and pistol events,” he said. 
 
The qualification and final rounds of men’s and women’s 10m air pistol will be held today.
 
Meanwhile, the 10m surroundings rifle women’s team’s event, mixed team (stage 1) occasions will take place on Sunday and 10m air pistol mixed teams (level 1) will get played on Monday, all at the same location. 
 
Shooters Shakil Ahmed and Armin Asha might compete found in men’s and women’s pistol singles and mixed occurrences. Baki, Disha and Rabbi, Ratna will represent Bangladesh in the rifle mixed team events.
